The production time will vary depending on the item ordered. Most items are MADE TO ORDER and production time for items in copper is up to 4 weeks. And plated items are up to 12 weeks. These times can vary and change depending on the volume of orders, especially around holidays. Keep in mind these times do not include shipping time.
Any items in stock will ship in 3 - 7 business days.
Any MADE TO ORDER items will ship in 6 - 8 weeks.
Any CUSTOM ORDERS do not have a ship time but take approx. 3 months.

All domestic orders in the US use USPS via First Class Mail. Most often this takes 3-5 business days. This can also vary depending on weather, location, and shipping volumes with USPS. Yes, we do. International shipping charges will be calculated for you at checkout and times for delivery will vary. Only domestic US orders over $50 ship free. Please be aware that once your order arrives in the country of destination, it may be subjected to additional fees and/or custom duties. Royal Bear Designs is not responsible for these fees.
All orders are placed in a bubble mailer with your jewelry wrapped safely in a kraft box and anti-tarnish cotton fill. This allows all orders to be ready for gift giving! If multiple items are ordered, all items will be placed together in one box.
Custom designs are placed in a beautiful royal blue holder and then cushioned with crinkle paper inside a sturdy large box.
On each of the product items you will notice each metal finish listed, and also a 'MADE TO ORDER' option. There are 4 metal finish types to choose from; Copper, Rose Gold, 14K Gold, and Rhodium. If your product is completed in said metal finish, it will show available and be able to be selected. These items are completed and ready to ship in 3 - 7 business days.
If it is crossed out and you are unable to select it - it is sold out, and a MADE TO ORDER option needs to be selected. This means that there is no inventory with those options and I will need to make one upon your requested order. This will take up to 8 weeks to ship.
Due to the nature of the stones, raw and natural, we do not offer a guarantee on the gemstones. Some gemstones and crystals are more fragile than others so be careful when wearing them. Even dropping them could cause damage and a single stone cannot be replaced in a design due to the way they are formed. An entire new item would need to be made.

We offer full refunds on standard designs; this does not include any custom birthstone rings, birthstone and charm bracelets or necklaces. If you wish to return or exchange, please contact us as soon as possible. Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery and buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The items returned must include the original packaging (box) and be unworn/undamaged. The refund will be processed within 48 hours once the item is received and verified undamaged. Rings cannot be resized due to the way they are formed. Due to the varying ring measuring tools, and the handmade process, it can be expected to have rings vary by a quarter of a size.
If you purchased a standard design, or a design left in copper, I am happy to either exchange for the proper size, or remedy your current copper design to fit as needed.

The process used is called electroforming. It's defined as the process of growing copper onto a conductive surface through electrolysis. The rings and charms are formed in pure copper, and necklace charms use a brass core with copper electroformed over the top.
Then the pieces are plated in the thickest possible plating of 14k gold, rose gold, or rhodium. Sterling Silver is used as a barrier between the copper and finish you select. These are now nickel free!

Copper is a reactive metal and will oxidize when exposed to air, water, heat, sweat, etc. Because my items are made of copper, there is the potential to cause greening. This happens depending on your body's PH level and happens to almost everyone. The greening is not harmful and copper is actually known to have many health benefits.
A few tips to help are to coat your pieces with a clear protectant that you purchase from Amazon called Protectaclear. You can also use a clear nail polish. The best way to prevent this is to choose a plating; rose gold is a great alternative to wanting that pink hue without the hassle of oxidization caused with copper.
Gold fill is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worries of any allergic reaction to the jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold!
The plating is 3 microns thick, the thickest possible, and will last much longer than typical plating. If the plating ever begins to wear down, contact us and we can re-dip it for you. If it wears within the 30 day guarantee, I will do this for you at no charge. If it is passed, there will be an additional fee. You will find that listed on the website. Or visit your local jeweler. Understand that all jewelry wears down so don't let that stop you from wearing these daily. They can be worn daily; sleeping, at the gym, in the water, etc. To help it looking its best, immediately dry after it's been in water and remove for sleeping. Any jewelry cloths work great to bring back shine.
