The Raw Birthstone or Mother’s Ring is designed using raw/rough natural gemstones.

  • Most ring sizes can fit about 5 stones comfortably. Understand if you need more that the majority of your stones will be smaller and most likely the ring will fan upwards and downwards on your finger to fit all the stones you ask for. 
  • The band is slightly textured.
  • The band width is approx. 2 mm
  • RINGS CANNOT BE RESIZED ONCE THEY ARE FORMED. PLEASE VERIFY YOUR RING SIZE BEFORE ORDERING.

This is fully customizable. Use the stones to represent specific birthstones, you and your spouse, anniversaries, special dates, infant loss and miscarriage's, grandparents, best friends, pets, a story, graduations, etc. Or maybe you just want to have your favorite colors or favorite stones!

Each stone varies slightly due to each design using natural, raw gemstones and crystals.

Custom Mothers Rings do not have a guaranteed ship date but usually take a couple months and cannot be rushed. 

NOTE: * Although we do our best to make sure our sizing is as accurate as possible, due to the inconsistency in sizing tools and the nature of the electroforming process, please allow ring sizes to vary a quarter size, and cannot be resized. Please get measured at a jewelry establishment or purchase a ring sizer from our shop. 

|| THE DETAILS ||

This is truly customizable. I will design your jewelry intuitively and use the details you provide in your order. Keep in mind that I will have more creative freedom with less details given. Also understand THAT THESE ARE NATURAL STONES SO ASKING FOR A PARTICULAR SHAPE OR COLOR OR SIZE OF EACH STONE MAY NOT BE FEASIBLE. *using details like "I would like them in this order xxx", "I would like X stone to be the largest and placed in the center, with stones x and x be around it", "Please have layout very bold and statement, with stone x being a deep color", or similar requests."  I will then snap a few pictures and message you those photos. If there is anything you want changed in the design, whether it is the layout or certain stones you do not like that I picked out, you tell me and I will adjust/redesign. It is best to give as many details up front so that I can incorporate those from the start as revisions are limited. This is one of the early steps in the lengthy process. Once we have the layout set and approved, I will continue with the metal work and plating. ♥ This portion of the process can take many weeks. You will get notifications from me when your item is shipped to the plating company/process. And when they are ready to ship to you, you will get another notification of the tracking info sent to you.

I have these plated in the thickest possible plating so that you are able to wear it without worry! If at any time you do need it re-dipped, contact me!

* HOW IT WORKS *

Custom Designs

There are many options with custom designs; either a ring or varying necklace forms. These are made just for you and can represent anything you like. These can represent your family, your kids, anniversaries, your pets, healing properties, celebrations, or maybe you just like the colors.♥ Pure intention goes into each design. 

Purchasing one of these designs is very detailed and I will ask that you provide the most clear and detailed information up front at checkout to speed up the process. I also ask that you are quick to respond to my messages, whether you ask for email or social media contact. Be sure to use an email that you check regularly to prevent delays.

  • Please provide a way to contact you for design approval (Instagram, Facebook, or email.)

Once your order is placed and all the details are provided, I will take said information and begin to design your piece. Once I have a design in place, I will send you photos, or a video, to show you the arrangement of the gemstones.

  •  A LOT goes into this part of the design. I take extra care and attention to each piece by hand selecting the proper stones to fit and look best together. When a ring is chosen, I also take into account your ring size with how large or small the stones are used. The smaller the ring size the smaller the stones will be, and the larger the ring size the larger the stones. If you are one that likes a statement ring (for example) and want to have the stones large and span out over your finger, just be sure to tell me so in the details before checking out. I have several examples of this on my Instagram account if you would like to see ☺.
When you get these images from me, know this is just the arrangement and ring size for you. Meaning, this is simply the stones glued to your ring band in the place and positions shown. There is no metal work completed at this point and is one of the first steps in my process. You will need to use your imagination to picture that metal work around the stones, any little gaps filled in with clay, and your metal finish at the end. I realize this can be tough for many people, and I try to post as many photos and videos on my social media pages to help you envision what your piece could look like. Seeing the various stone colors and shapes with the various metal finishes. Go to my Instagram page for inspiration and images/videos to help.

    You will look over the images sent and respond promptly with any requests for changes. That could be a stone you do not like. A position of another. Or all of it. You just let me know what and how you would like it changed. And I will re-design and send over new photos or videos. To keep all orders on a proper deadline, only a few revisions will be allowed so be sure to provide your most important details at checkout.

    After I get your approval will I move forward with the process. Once 3 attempts to contact you and 10 days have passed without response from you for alterations, I will continue on in the process and the design will be completed with my design. The next many steps you will likely not hear from me as I am continuously working with clay to fill in any gaps, sanding, painting, forming, polishing, and more. 

    You will get notification when it is ready to ship. 

    At any time during this process you may reach out to me for updates or questions. But please know that the electroforming process is extensive, detailed, and time consuming work and I am a one-woman show. I do my best to respond promptly as well and promise you will love it when it is completed!

    Our Process

    Electroforming is the process I use to make all my designs! It’s defined as the process of growing copper onto a conductive surface through electrolysis. Basically, a thick “skin” of metal is built up onto a surface. All charms and rings are made of a solid copper core. If you choose Rose Gold, 14K Gold or Rhodium finishes, these are heavily plated at 3 microns thick to last you as long as possible.

    If you ever need your item replated, that service is available for a small fee.

    Sizing

    Rings cannot be resized due to the way they are formed. Due to the varying ring measuring tools, and the handmade process, it can be expected to have rings vary by a quarter of a size. 

    We carry plastic ring sizers that are accurate and very helpful to keep on hand to reuse over and over again.

    FOR CUSTOM DESIGNS it is very important to have an accurate sizing of your finger as custom designs are final sale. Resizing sometimes can be done, please contact me regarding this service.

    Care

    Taking good care of your jewelry is very important. There are many ways to keep them in tip-top shape right at home. It is best practice to remove your jewelry when working with chemicals, cleaning products, salt water, or hot tubs. When storing, keep them in an anti-tarnish baggie is also best.

    Wearing them is still the best way to keep them clean!
